This is the first time we’ve staged a home and we were very happy with the result. For us, staging lets the buyer see past the empty house with its wear and tear and see what the house is like as a home and to see themselves living there.

I was surprised at how much work was involved setting up, the very careful thought given to placement (under Michelle’s eye everything was ‘just so’) and the careful selection of the right pieces to fit the home. We were delighted with the results. Photos were superb.

I guess you never know how much of a contribution the staging makes to a sale, but we are in no doubt that it was significant and we were able to get multiple good offers in a 10 day campaign.

We were convinced by our real estate agent (who we trust implicitly) to stage our rental property for sale. We were initially hesitant given the desire to maximise the sale proceeds. However, the cost was extremely affordable relative to the expected sales price and we certainly believe that the quality of the staging contributed to the offer we received after only one week on the market. The offer that we accepted was over our asking price and in no small part down to the ability for the buyers to view the property in its true liveable state. The staging delineated living areas and permitted buyers (we believe) to imagine how their furniture (or that of their tenants) might look in the rooms; right down to trinkets on night stands and pens on the desk in the office space. Staging a property, certainly in our experience, provides a clear advantage to a seller and MODE were professional, prompt and accommodating throughout. We recommend sellers and their agents consider a chat with MODE before marketing a property for sale or rent.

We have used home staging before and for me it’s about price justification and it is the right thing to do.

Once the house is staged there is the total WOW factor this is so amazing and that will always justify getting the house staged.

If you a serious about selling your house it is the best way to go.
